In the Community
At Blackberry Farm, where possible we are keen to support children and young people with special needs and disabilities in our community.
We currently work closely with Gully’s Day Out and Mencap and also offer voluntary work placements and experience to young people with special needs and disabilities within our community.
Gully’s Day Out
The Gully’s Day Out team has linked up with some of Sussex’s best loved attractions including Blackberry Farm to provide free passes or vouchers for children and young people with special needs and disabled adults.
American Express staff have played a vital role in helping to deliver the project with a number undergoing a special training programme enabling them to play full and active support roles on days out at local leisure attractions.
The project is a great opportunity for children and young people to visit some amazing places with family and friends and have a great day out. Thanks to the generous support of a number of local leisure attractions Gully’s Day Out participants can take family and friends with them on days out subject to availability.
Gully’s Day Out members can request a pass/voucher to gain free entry to attractions including Cineworld, the Sealife Centre, Blackberry Farm, the Arundel Wetlands and many more.
